Singers needed for the next Praise & Harmony recording

Photo by Mary Lewis – – Yes, it’s hard work to audition for, then learn and rehearse 25 songs for a professional recording.  But, it can be very rewarding.  The rewarding experience can be fun as well.  Notice the faces of these previous participants.

We hope to recruit more singers than ever for our next recording.  As I mentioned, we are also starting the process of recruiting teenagers for another project in June of 2010, to record a vibrant collection of new praise songs, especially for young people.

IMG_0355Check out this recent post about this project. We record in sections as well as record the songs totally mixed by parts.  Gary Miller does a great job of mixing it all together. Why not recruit four singers from your church to audition for our next Praise & Harmony project?  And while you are at it, inform your youth workers about this unique opportunity for teens who have a gift of singing.

To have your quartet apply, contact John Bynum.

  1. We do not accept individuals for the recording auditions, as the most successful process (that works for us) involves quartets having plenty of rehearsal time (as a group) before the recording sessions. This really helps the singers work with blend, dynamics and all the recording notes that we provide for the group leaders.

  2. we plan to participate in the next P & W recording. Is the date set yet? And, it is in Tulsa? Sounds good to me!!

    • Pam,
John Bynum can answer those questions for you as he handles all the groups who audition. We are planning to record it in Tulsa with pre-approved groups of singers who have thoroughly rehearsed as a group. It’s a great experience for those who have the musical talents.

  3. I am interested to be as the member of your choir,.. but is it

possible?? for I live on Indonesia,.. but I am looking forward to

    see your concert in Indonesia
