The key to a successful Praise & Harmony workshop is the 2 to 3 month preparation required before the workshop. The entire congregation (not just those interested in singing) is encouraged to attend a singing class to learn new songs, sit in sections by voice parts, listen to the training CDs through the week to learn to sing in harmony “by ear.” In fact, the material is designed to provide training for people who have no experience in music. When the sponsoring congregation invests the effort to involve as many of their members (all ages) in new song classes and master the material, the workshop’s benefits are multiplied many times over.
