Jubilant reception in Johannesburg for Acappella CLASSIC
Acappella Classic Thursday, October 29th, 2009
As Acappella CLASSIC arrived at the airport in Johannesburg, a crowd of fans gathered to welcome the international travelers with a very joyful celebration. Drums were playing as the vocalists received this warm, first-class welcome to Africa. Acappella is so blessed by the many African fans and we’re looking forward to connecting with many of them in person.

The welcome here was amazing. There was shouting, drum playing and picture taking. I think the thing that makes me most happy is I believe that is the response Christians ought to have win they hang out with each other. I had a great car ride with some of the gentleman who are helping with this musicianary trip and it is humbling to see the opportunities God provides to encourage and be encouraged. Keith, even as I am here with you, I think you should know – I am an Acappella fan and this ministry has touched my life for years. And a touch from me means a hug and kiss from Grandma Kay, meals at the Hatcher’s, you “arranging” songs in studio A, and last but certainly not least the songs you have written over the years. Songs that have taught scripture, Songs that have placed scripture in a different paradigm, and songs that have just gotten me through have blessed many. I look forward to the next couple of days. God bless – Steve Maxwell
