AVB Reunion concert stirs great ministry memories

The AVB reunion concert this past July stirred countless memories of AVB’s full-time travels around the world. Like Acappella, AVB has been blessed with quite a number of talented vocalists across its history. The concert was amazing – all three hours plus! After I return to our country, I hope to find time to post some photos that Randy Glover captured of the guys in AVB. This motivates me to plan a complete Acappella Ministries anniversary reunion – complete with Vocal Union, Durant, AVB and Acappella. Maybe we should not limit the celebration to one concert? Now that would be quite a variety of high energy, soul-impacting music and ministry! Probably the best time would be during our annual July Acafest – perhaps in 2012? (our 30th anniversary)

I’ll vote for that! Exciting for you to do the “Classic Tour” in Cape Town. . .give us a “sneek peek” when you can. Give all my Acappella friends a big ND hug from me!!
Off the record:
I’m up for an all nighter coming out of a bipolar cycke. . .11 days this time, after just going through a 6 day one last month. Gets old, but God has His reasons. Pray for strength and healing for our family. Bert came down with a sore throat & headache today, Rebekah has a massive cold, just weeks from arrival of baby #3, and #2 son spiked a fever this evening. Going through the cycles are also very taxing mentally for Bert, and now with Ryan home, he is learning the ins and outs of it all, too. Any chance you can get some Lullabies back in stock?? I’m missing mine right now. . .must be in one of the vehicles. . .and it’s always a good one for my sleepless nights! Also, we have all these babies coming up that will need one!! Is Sharon with you? Give her my love, wherever she is!!
Hey, thats all good. Did you guys make a dvd for the concert? Some of us were not able to make it coz of financial & distance issues. Even if its roughly done i dont mind,im an avb fan so i dont mind,will buy it. Pliz let me know. Stay blessed.
I’m afraid we did not make a DVD of the event. It takes so much work to put one together and we placed our efforts into the actual reunion. Blessings!
