Our first African safari experience

It has been said that, if at all possible, everyone should experience a safari when they visit Africa. On my second visit to this continent, our concert promoter made this a memorable reality. Yami treated us to a complete safari experience – - what an incredible memory! Of course I put my telephoto lens to good use, capturing the amazing wild animals in their habitat. For those of you with Facebook pages, you can see a collection of these safari shots on my Facebook page, as I haven’t had time to upload them to our primary photo gallery yet.

Excellent pics here and on FB of your Safari. What an experience, seeing many of God’s more unusual creatures. Noah must have had a quite a time.
Riding in the open air jeep, were there any worries that some of the predators might take an interest in your group?
They told us that the animals vision (and perspective) viewed the large safari vehicle as one unit, not as individuals “within” the vehicle. Believe me, we thought about that too.
Glad you enjoyed your safari! I hope you will visit Africa again. It is such a pleasure to read of visitors enjoying our lovely continent.
