One gentleman put it to me this way, leave them wanting more not wanting to leave. Or who is missing the first half of the football game. I grew up in a congregation that only would sing the first and last verse of all FIVE song we sang! I am much happier with sing about 10 songs and not rushing through any part of worship. I learned more Bible from the songs than I did listening to a preacher for 20 min. Now as an adult I am able to understand the preacher, but I still love the leasons from the songs. I also know my Mother is not happy with me when I come to visit her if I'm rushing through our visit. So we need to think how the Lord feels when we come to WORSHIP Him and we rush or are worried with the outside world!
