Leaving Alabama with a Big Head & Warm Heart

A few weeks ago, I experienced another surrealistic day. I can’t describe the thrill of holding my first grandchild and spending quality time with Hunter Keith (see photo on another blog post.) While enjoying the warmth of that blessing on the drive back home, we stopped at a Cracker Barrel. A total stranger walked up to me and told me I was the greatest song leader in the world. Come to find out, this lady had attended the Tulsa Soulwinning Workshop and had spent some time visiting family in Arkansas before heading back toward her home in South Carolina. I was definitely leaving Alabama with a “big head and a warm heart. ”
Please do me a favor: If you happen to meet that sweet lady from South Carolina, please don’t inform her of the fallacy of her belief. Maybe she doesn’t get out much? But what a surrealistic day it was.
