I do not know if you will remember me but it was between 25-30 years ago that I met you. Brina Hill is my name and where we met I am sure was during my Southwesterrn Christian College days 1976-1977. I also recall here in California possibly the Campbell Church of Christ or at Daybreak camp during the beginning with the first group you started. Feliz and I were married May 21 1977 and we celebrated our 33rd last week at the San Luis Obispo Church of Christ. We ride road bikes together now. Mortorcycling is on my wife and daughters hearts but I had to learn how to ride it first. Six months after I started on a Hon da GL1100 I was hit. Took the wind out of me for a while. Now there are Three wheel trikes that I looked forward to riding.
I am so proud of what I heard for the first time this morning “Rescue” I know it was written many years ago, but I just heard it and I was moved closer to God for what I need today in my life. I so much appreciate what you have done with your life and family. I can actually say WOW! I envy the impact God has allowed you to have on so many people. I am selfishly ambitious and its hard to watch others prosper but I can not help but see through my selfishness what GOD has done through you. Deep down I wish it were me, buit its not he chose you one with a more pure heart to really represent what he wanted done done. God knew I would not work that hard, travel, give, sacrifice and protect his word through song like you allowed him to by your love for him. I hope to keep repenting and learn how to give without expecting anything in return. Now I will keep up with your ministry of music. Coming to California? Would love to see just you and your wife as you pass through although I know that is not possible for scheduling reasons I thought I would ask anyway. If you come then we will go triking in the Northern California backroads. my favorite passages about God are in Job 11:13-20 Job 22:13-20 and Psalms 19:7-14
