Queen Victoria Building Clock

SONY DSC

Actually there are two suspended clocks, and I enjoyed photographing both of them from various angles. I captured this one early in the morning to avoid the rush hour times with brisk pedestrian traffic. This Sydney, Australia building is simply beautiful!

Would You Swap Your Voice Range?

IMG_1944

Photo by Richard Hooi – Do you know your vocal range? (Are you a bass, tenor, alto or soprano?) Secondly, are you happy with your range, or do you wish you had a different range? I ask this because I know a lot of tenors who wish they were basses. I find a lot of [...]

Hawaiian Doxology

I asked my friend, Wayne Epstein, if he would allow me to video the Doxology in Hawaiian. His sister and niece were gracious enough to join him in singing this lovely rendition. This video features (from Left to Right): Kamakoa Page, Wayne Epstein and Pearl Cantrell

It’s encouraging to know that this event is still active after all of these years. Special thanks go to Terry Rush, Shane Coffman and the entire Memorial Drive Family for keeping [...]

Bringing Passion to the Tulsa Stage

SONY DSC

Having worked on recording projects and with concert presentations, I’ve learned the differences between the two formats. Although it’s quite possible to capture passion on an audio recording, there is nothing that compares to experiencing a live concert. I’m so very proud of these guys, who put their heart and soul into delivering the songs [...]
