What a blessing to have the privilege of spending a good bit of time with Jules Cseszko recently. Firstly, in America, as Jules traveled to Tennessee from Melbourne, Australia to attend the Worship Leader Institute. While in the U.S., Jules also attended a Praise & Harmony workshop with us and led Sunday morning worship at our home congregation – Park Plaza – in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Shortly after his trip to America, we traveled to Australia and enjoyed a great turnout for the area-wide singing in Melbourne. The Cseszkos traveled to Tasmania with us to enjoy a weekend of praise & harmony. Jules is quite the musician! Check out these pictures that I took of Jules performing for us in this photo album.

A delightful, private Flute Quartet concert in Melbourne

What a treat for Jules Cseszko to arrange for us to hear this Flute Quartet! I just now realized that I can post links to a Face Book photo album from my blog. Click here to check out all the Flute Quartet pics. Hearing this music increases your intelligence. There are some styles of music I’ve heard recently that has the opposite effect.

Walking on top of the Trees

While in Brisbane, we were treated to a visit to Tamborine Mountain and their brand new “Sky Walk” through the rain forest. It’s always interesting to walk through and above the trees on a series of walkways designed to protect the rain forest. My first experience on one of these was years ago on my very first visit to Western Australia. A few years ago, we found a similar walk near Vancouver, British Columbia. This Sky Walk is very well designed and provides a very unique perspective.

Last year, while visiting the Cseszko family, we were treated to a concert of string quartet music as performed by Jules and his three sons. What a delightful experience.

First Production Electric Motorcycle

Here’s a photo of my friend, Randy Lamp, with the first production all-electric motorcycle. While in Rogers, Arkansas, I was pleased to drive this very special cycle. You may remember that Randy is the one who is responsible for my performance (race) car experience.

Our first African safari experience

It has been said that, if at all possible, everyone should experience a safari when they visit Africa. On my second visit to this continent, our concert promoter made this a memorable reality. Yami treated us to a complete safari experience – - what an incredible memory! Of course I put my telephoto lens to good use, capturing the amazing wild animals in their habitat. For those of you with Facebook pages, you can see a collection of these safari shots on my Facebook page, as I haven’t had time to upload them to our primary photo gallery yet.

Nelson Mandela Square in JoBurg

We visited Nelson Mandela Square and a lot of the Sandton area, which is probably the richest square mile of the entire continent of Africa. Although not my first trip to South Africa, this was my first time to visit this area. Yami, the concert promoter, is treating us like royalty and we appreciate it greatly.

Sean Algaier is no loser, displaying selfless actions

Our friend, Sean Algaier, proved to be a very positive example of selflessness as he participated on the hit television show, “The Biggest Loser.” Thinking of others above yourself is at the heart of Christ’s message. Way to go, Sean! We’re proud of the progress you’ve made in improving your health, but especially we’re thankful for the way you represent Jesus. Check out his appearance on the Today Show.

Noel & Celeste Green’s Hypnobirthing story

We have known Celeste (Scott) Green since she was a young child. As we got to visit with Dan & Latayne and Noel, Celeste and baby Scottlyn this week, we heard about their hypnobirthing story, that you can read here on Noel’s blog. Hypnobirthing is a birthing technique that uses hypnosis as a calming method for the mother and baby. I have never heard of such, and you’ll definitely find this very interesting.
