We visited Hampton Court Palace on a day that King Henry Vlll was in residence.
What a treat to hear this outstanding choir perform at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Edinbrugh, Scotland! Although most of their music was accompanied by organ, their a cappella renditions were my absolute favorite. What surprised me most about this choir was the fact that the majority of its members were children.
I waited until everyone left the scene before taking this shot. It’s not an HDR, as I’m in the habit of taking. The Minster in York, England is so very beautiful. We enjoyed attending the choral Evensong.

In July and August, Edinburgh’s Festival season comes alive with activities abounding. This backdrop is an amazing experience for street photographers, capturing a colorful variety of subjects.
Street performers enthusiastically entertain eager onlookers along the Royal Mile, between Edinburgh’s Castle and the Holyrood Palace.
