I’m really enjoying the interaction on Google+, especially when it comes to photographers and the slick platform for sharing pictures. Similar to Facebook’s “Like” button, you can “+1″ posts that you like. This has helped me to gauge which photos are prefered over others.

This vertical view of the Queen Victoria Building is now in the top two of “+1″ votes of my Google+ photos. Shooting designs and shapes is not a common theme of my photos, but I’m finding that a number of people enjoy this. This shot reminds me of the iris of a human eye. Hope to see you at Google+.

I believe the name of this location is Port Charmers, near the beautiful South Island town of Dunedin. I came across this location two years in a row, but did not photograph this scene until this year. The early morning light painted the scene nicely.
