Praising God at Culver Palms

Pictured: Mark Manassee, Preaching Minister for Culver Palms. We were blessed by a great experience with the Culver Palms congregation. In addition to a Praise & Harmony emphasis, we enjoyed a Big Greek Fat Feast with Alexander and Eleni Mellirrytos hosting.

Exuberant Praise in Fort Collins, Colorado

Photo by Julie Rideout – The churches who gain the most from Praise & Harmony Workshops are the ones who focus on the assigned preparatory homework leading up to the Workshop. The Meadowlark congregation in Fort Collins, Colorado, amazed us by how prepared they were. Because of the time they invested in their singing sessions during the weeks leading up to the workshop, I was able to delve deeper and cover much more material. What a blessing to worship with this congregation!

Taking Worship Seriously in Martinez

Martinez is definitely serious about worship. We enjoyed a wonderful Praise & Harmony weekend, hosted by this vibrant congregation. Normally, during the course of my workshops, I am lamenting the fact that most churches fail to invest in their song leaders (worship leaders) and place worship renewal as a very low priority. The Martinez Church sponsored nine of their song leaders for training last year and are continuing this notable trend. What a great example for other churches to follow!

Pictured with me is Colby Swann, who serves the Station Camp Church in middle Tennessee. Throughout the Praise & Harmony weekend, we were able to explore various ways of seeking excellence through a customized strategy for this particular congregation. I’m optimistically anticipating great reports from Colby and the Station Camp Church.

Packed House in Tolar, Texas

Photo by Elaine Green – The house was literally packed in Tolar, Texas for the Praise and Harmony Workshop. Christians attended from many different congregations. Everyone sat in sections by voice part to make learning the parts much easier. Notice in the picture the signs posted for the alto and bass sections on the right half of the auditorium.

Refocusing Priorities in Carlsbad, New Mexico

Photo by Karla Hamel – This past weekend, we enjoyed a very enthusiastic response to the Praise & Harmony Workshop with the Sunset Church in Carlsbad, New Mexico. In addition to the Saturday Workshop, a combined Sunday School dealt with the topic of worship and the morning assembly focused on singing and praise. We look forward to hearing about the future of the church in Carlsbad.
